Thought I'd give you a little rant.. I'm 15 btw..

So need to find a evening job or something to earn a bit of money ... anyone any ideas? I'm computer illeritate and have glowing references already? help :P odd jobs.

Putting a booklet together.. Word typing things.. helping in a shop.. anything help lol..

Paper round - tried, Blackrod has hardly any paper rounds and they're all taken.

You have to be 18,my daughter went for a job last week,but as she`s not 18 until August was told to come back then.

Ah must have changed since I worked there then.

You could get a job serving popcorn and that at 15, but you couldn't work in the cinemas checking on the screens etc til 18.

16 is the minimum now, though some restriction exist - like bar work and such like where it is 18 min.

Glass collecting, pot washing in a restaurant (did that at Grt Lever golf club, crap job but payed well for me when i was 15 and got free spuds when they came out of the oven!). Most other things i can thing of have a) already been mentioned b) too old for you to do or c) illegal

Hello Cal. What is computer illeritate? :wink:

To get any job you have to try and impress at least a little. Keep an eye on spelling and grammar, it's important whatever you do. Biggest problem is your age. Another twelve months and it'll be a lot easier. Have you tried supermarkets, shelf filling etc?
