Rented Dark Soul and Rage.

Spent 10 mins on Dark Soul trying to work out the worlds most complex UI - really didn't grab me.

Then started Rage. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the whole "post apocalypse" landscape stuff. Not really my scene. That said, I'm still chugging through it. It looks good and plays good so far. I'll probably play it some more.

Anyone tried the new Deus Ex yet? The first one was top of the PC charts for years. If this one is half as good, it will be a fair game.

really want Gow3 too, but the days of me paying forty notes for a new title are long gone, cant believe i ever did now! However i will make an exception for MW3, just because of the infinite hours of play time it offers... but ill get GoW3 2nd hand off ebay in a few weeks.

Dark Souls is an extremely hardcore game, I love it to bits.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is incredible, aside from some terrible boss fights.

RAGE...I reviewed and gave 8/10 to...but at times during the review it could have swung anywhere between a 7 and a 9. It's an odd game, great moment-to-moment combat, but a lot of boring stuff too.

i think its to windows8-ify the console.

Looks really good .. will be coming Novemeber 25th if i remember rightly. There was an update last week in preparation of the big change.

Unless they include checkpoints like they did in Gay Tony, I'm not going anywhere near GTA5.
The main game in 4 was beyond infuriating; Steal a car, trail another car for like 20 minutes without being spotted, then have a massive 40 against one shootout and if it goes wrong at any point, restart and do the whole lot again.

No thanks. It costs me too much to replace the controllers that I end up smashing into smithereens in frustration.

fairly sure they provided an update patch for this? but im sure there will be checkpoints in the new one.

Don't think i'll bother this year.. Happy with Battlefield 3 which blows COD's online out of the park IMO. Amazing maps and you can drive tanks and fly choppers and jets amongst other things .

Not too sure about it either...I probably will. Not going to try BF3, think I Can only paly CoD. I did try Medal of Honor, hated it.
