Just back from seeing his new show in Manchester

absolutely superb from start to finish.

Funny as hell, and superb when using music and video to enhance the show.

Highly recommended.

Never had the good fortune to see him 'live' as such, but going off his appearances on QI i can imagine how good he would be, might have to catch him next time around. :D

Really?

I didn't think he was all the great really. Few laughs here and there, but £30 a ticket? I shalln't be falling for that again. Thought his last tour, or whichever 1 is on dvd, was better.

Saw Jimmy Carr t'other week, thought he was much better than Bailey. Though I must admit, Bailey's use of effects and the background screen were great, along with some of the music parts. Otherwise, it was abit shite really :?

Black Books is awsome, as are his live dvds, I have both box sets. Going see him when he comes down to Brum at the end of the month, can't wait!

he finished off with the 'love song' that he used on the last tour

weeping tears of laughter at the end

Saw him a decade ago in Manc, yon place opposite BBC Oxford Road. Hilarious, but then I was a little stoned.

There's a half-hour documentary on him on BBC3 Tuesday night, Dawn French having followed up Girls Who Do Comedy imaginatively with Boys Who Do Comedy.
