My mate offered me £300 for mine.

But I think I'm happier being smug in the knowledge that I own one and he doesnt.

Truth be told...I barely use mine anymore....

Bought one in June, but I've really not played it much. I might play it more now that the awesomeness that is Super Mario Galaxy is now out...

Sell it, and then buy one from Amazon.de, where there is loads of stock available and they'll ship to you in a couple of days.

Duh.

My wii was stolen the other week. :( Although they dropped the sensor bar and wii sports. As I'm a student, doesn't look like I'll be getting another one either.

Me and my mate bought it together. We both had PSPs that we never used so we traded them in along with some games. Looking back, I realised how much alcohol we could have bought for the price.

They are also going to get an X-Box plug (yes they nicked the plug but not the x-box so now neither of us can play it), a hair clippers set ( ) and four empty DVD cases. They weren't the best robbers in the world really!

if its from an original xbox , you can just buy them from 'anywhere' theyre that "8" jack shaped looking lead you find on portable radios/cassette players/etc .. find an old one..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEC_connector - its the "c7" one

if its 360 , its just a computer psu's kettle lead (i think - i'm not sure on this) from the psu to the mains .. i think that is a c13 one , i think , it might be a c15- i forget, if its owt like that at all ..

if they snatched the 360s psu brick dealio too.. then msft / ebay / off a broken console ..

Thanks for the advice.

Its an original xbox so from what you said it probably won't be too difficult to get a plug for it. Just doesn't quite seem worth it anymore though. When you've played the Wii the original X-Box just doesn't hold the same appeal anymore!

Any offers over £250 and get it flogged. I'm sure the novelty has worn off already anyway?

And buy a replacement from Germany, for cheaper, so you make money and still keep your Wii (ok, you'd need to buy an adapter, too, but that's hardly big money is it?)

Bought one in February, hardly used it since March, still wouldn't flog it though...

Get yourself Mario Galaxy and blow that dust off the top of the Wii.
