Can't wait for this. One of the better marvel concepts as well. Really hope it does well but it will be a test given it doesn't have the mainstream popularity a Spiderman, Hulk or X-Men had. Think they're going to market it in the same way as transformers so it should have a good chance.

I am more interested in seeing Robert Downey Jr play the lead.

Perfect casting (as with Bale/Batman).

saw rambo today - must be getting old as I was quite disturbed by a lot of it, but that aside there was a trailer for "Son of Rambow", which if it lives up to the trailer (as few do) will be the Brit-flick of the year.

Thought that looked absolutely shit tbh but maybe that's just because I'm too much of a devout Rambo fan.

Yes- that must be it.

So what exactly made "Son of Rambow" look like it would be the 'brit-flick' of the year? To me it looked nothing more shoddy and I didn't think it was funny in the slightest.

Then again, as I disagree with you I guess my brain hasn't developed enough?

because Dax, it harks at the boundless energy of youth, living life without boundaries - a total lack of awarness of what is and isn't possible that only comes from childhood, something that life saps from you like a vampire sucking blood from your neck.

Son of Rambow looks a bit meh imho. For some reason it seems like a mix between napoleon dynamite and billy elliot :S though one shouldn't judge a book by its cover I guess

Either way, reckon it'll be hard pushed by The Cottage to be British Film of the year:

Just watched the film. Everyone has their one personal favorite comic superhero when they were kids; Ironman was mine. So, alot was expected; was I disapointed?

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnope!!!! :pissed:

It was as good as I'd hoped it would be.

Oh, and if anyone wants to watch it NOW, no download, no details needed, no waiting, just click the link and play. PM me and I'll send you the link
