New Zealand v England
Great start by England in the third test.
England 4 runs for 3 wickets from 6 overs. Brilliant.

Good ole Pietersen. 129 runs just managed to get us to a half respectable score.malcd1 wrote:49-4 but it was 36-4.
Everything rests on Pietersen getting a big score. Watch him get out now.
240-7 is not bad considering the terrible start. Expect us to be all out within the first 10 overs later.
It's supposed to be a good batting pitch. We make 260 they make 632-5 declared.

It still shouldn't get our pxss poor top order of the hook. Even if Pieterson has.malcd1 wrote:Good ole Pietersen. 129 runs just managed to get us to a half respectable score.malcd1 wrote:49-4 but it was 36-4.

It's funnt, I was watching SSN yesterday, top of the batsman betting was Pieterson. The Ladbrokes spokesman was on telling everyone to take your pick of the field, Pieterson is out of form and a terrible favourite.malcd1 wrote:49-4 but it was 36-4.

Is there really any point getting a bookies' rep in to give betting advice? I mean, if they thought there was value in the book, they would adjust the odds not leave it there for savvy punters. Sky put a lot of shit on their news programme, but this segment has to be the most pointless. /end rant

Well thats one way of answering yer critics!Verbal wrote:467-7 declared Ndiwa, with NZ now 48 without loss. Strauss was out for 177 in the end!
Have we achieved any kind of record with that total? (ie highest overseas 2nd ins?)
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Vetori is a dangerman as well. I can't see them pulling it off but its not beyond us to feck it upTANGODANCER wrote:They need 300+ from the second half batsmen. Can't see it, and I think they'll try to hold out for the draw with a bit of stonewalling. If they risk hitting out they have a big task on.
