What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

family movie night tonight - watched Kingsman - which (I have to say) - was ACE FUN!! :D

(though - admittedly - I had originally thought it was some kind of porn film, which was what was putting me off! )

There are a variety of responses that I could give to this, BP, but I'll leave it. ;)

been watching The League on Netflix over the last few weeks. i read an article on Shortlist called THE 10 FUNNIEST SHOWS YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ON NETFLIX in which it was mentioned, then when i learned it was from some of the same people responsible for Seinfeld and CURB i had to give it a go... it also boasts a mighty 8.4 on imdb.

There's summat not quite right about it. its good, im enjoying it and its laugh out loud funny in parts, but the thing that gets me is one minute its quite smart, dry comedy with great dialogue similar to Curb, but then the next scene could be total daftness more akin to Flight of the Conchords - ive no problem with either comedic style but when mixed together im finding it a bit irritating.

still definitely worth checking out tho...

Show Me a Hero. New HBO venture, co-written by David Simon of The Wire fame. Think I'll watch that tonight.

Trainwreck. Really liked it. Grinfest throughout with a few genuine LOLs in there, actually more PMSL's to be fair. (Michael Cena in the cinema scene) but it does go a bit dry for periods, and not all the jokes worked either, the sex scenes were meant to be funny were just a bit weird. Decent enough film tho, loved the Woody Allen Manhattan homage! Amy Schemer is gonna be a big star! Already is over yonder...

Have you gone and confused John Cena with Michael Cera?

It did look good from the trailer and I do like some of Amy Schumer's sketches. See below:

I'm always behind the times with these big TV series - so I'm now working my way through Bosch series 1 - which is engaging in its own simple way - but the opening titles are mesmerising! (best watched full-screen to get the mirror effects..)

Amy.

Must see. What a talent, what a character, what a shame. Being famous looks awful.

Vue in Angel. Was also on at Odeon Camden so there are still a couple of showings a night.

Was pretty empty so not sure how much longer it'll run, though was a 6 o clock start.
