I thought Jessica Lange was terrific in that, as was Tim Roth.General Mannerheim wrote:was more shocked at the 'decent acting' bit...

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Yesterday - chugged along to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. Ignoring the film type for a minute, because it's certainly not going to be everyone's cuppa, I saw it at the Printworks IMAX in 3D. First time I've been to IMAX 3D. Absolutely stunning and a great candidate for showing off the immersive technology. There were times I ducked and times my jaw just dropped. Aside from that, I did actually think there were some very good performances in there.
Eddie Redmayne knocked it out of the park and Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston and Samantha Morton, were also pretty good.

Yup! They do appear to be lighter and less head hurting than when they first came out. I did do a rendition of Pretty Woman before it started.Bruce Rioja wrote:Did you have to sit there looking like Robin Day with daft glasses on?

So you still looked like an absolute fecking c*nt? That's all that's important here. :lol;Worthy4England wrote:Yup! They do appear to be lighter and less head hurting than when they first came out. It was dark. And it's a bit like a United fan wearing a United shirt at a home game - everyone knows you're a c*nt, but because you're surrounded by other c*nts, you feel better about it.Bruce Rioja wrote:So you still looked like an absolute fecking c*nt? Not tonight, but last night, I took great delight in seeing "The Beast", Mark Labett get tanked on The Chase as he watched three contestants walk off with sixty grand between them. Oh, was he not amused...

Oh do watch it. I don't really think it's the money at all with him. He's so arrogant with his "Fifty grand says you can't beat ME ". Just looks a real prat when somebody does. They did....Bruce Rioja wrote:Oh I need to see that. It's superb isn't it? So, so clever but still I've no idea what's going on.General Mannerheim wrote:the completely bamboozling but viscerally gripping Westworld finale last night. corrr!!!

Re: What are you watching tonight?
No, simply because I hold the performances of Richard Attenborough, John Hurt and Judy Geeson in the film to be absolutely unsurpassable, and reckon that I'd only be disappointed by it.Harry Genshaw wrote:Anyone watching Rillington place? Very dark and awesome performance from Tim Roth
