Van Gerwen is unreal. Haven't got Sky but I watched on a stream. Anderson played brilliant in parts, Van Gerwen played brilliantly all the time. Phenomenal display and who would have an answer to that. In the words of Cragi Revel Horwood: " A..ma..zing.....

I'm amazed that it hasn't happened before/more often, Tango. On the times I've been the atmosphere has been absolutely fantastic but there's always one.TANGODANCER wrote:Forgot to mention, anybody see the clown at the darts who jumped out of the sudience and grabbed the trophy before the security guys got him? Re: What are you watching tonight?
Girl Friday implored me to start watching two television series' this week, so I just have. The first is called No Offence, which I thought to be very good, the second is called Unforgotten, which I found to be excellent television.

For the past couple of month's I've been re-watching Twin Peaks ahead of the new series in May. Season two is an absolute shitstorm for about 8 episodes. A total waste of time.
Gonna get on The OA very soon.

I just watched that. Interesting but nothing special. Addictive though as it keeps you guessing.Dr Hotdog wrote:For the past couple of month's I've been re-watching Twin Peaks ahead of the new series in May. Season two is an absolute shitstorm for about 8 episodes. A total waste of time.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Anybody watching the Yorkshire answer to Bolton Palais T.V stars yet? A blatant B.B.C effort to rival last year's Bridge Street extravaganza. This guy went to Barnsley then Skipton and somewhere else in White Rose territory to get the towns dancing. Barnsley was the starter with marching miners and overweight coppers not knocking shxt out of each other for a change, and a variety of all and sundry dancing theough the town. Was okay as an entertaining hour and worth the watch for those baton twirling, er lasses most of who appeared to be about sixteen stone. Can be seen on B.B.C i player and next week is Skipton.

TV shows I'm enjoying at the moment:
No Offence - Gritty Northern Coppers written by Shameless's Paul Abbot
Taboo - Tom Hardy vehicle. Poldark on steroids
Sherlock - Convoluted bollocks but so many twists I'm entertained
Only Connect - Victoria Coren Mitchell
Oh, and Narcos on Netflix. Just started Series 2

Did you watch series 1 as well Bruce. Major plot line towards the end of that sets the dynamic for S2Bruce Rioja wrote:Recommended to me by Girl Friday, that one. Loving it. Also, Unforgotten.Gary the Enfield wrote:TV shows I'm enjoying at the moment:

I didn't, but I was briefed by GF after being left a bit baffled by some of the references in the first episode.Gary the Enfield wrote:Did you watch series 1 as well Bruce. Just catching up on last night's Unforgotten. Something that I had forgotten to mention is that I absolutely love the theme tune.
