As described by Malcolm Tucker:
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

When I was 14 I had my left earlobe pierced and someone said to me "Oh, it's a good job you didn't have your right earlobe pierced". "Why's that then?" I enquired. "Well, if you have your right earlobe pierced then it means you're gay" said the chap with whom I was speaking. "Oh" said I, "Only I thought that one gentleman inserting his erect penis into the anal sphincter of another might form a truer indication". He, like you, Boris, was talking utter shite.

I couldn't take Kermodes choices seriously as soon as I saw he loved 'moonlight'. One of the dullest pieces of shite that I saw in 2017

He highly recommended Mustang. He wasn't wrong. Never seen Moonlight, but I reckon that Kermode gets more right than he gets wrong.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2017 10:38 pmI couldn't take Kermodes choices seriously as soon as I saw he loved 'moonlight'. Definitely interested as to what Tango's take on it all is though, as I believe certain people have been kept in it with precious little dancing ability.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Firstly Bruce, it's no longer all about dance skill but an entertainment show. Great for the producers as it drags in 10 million viewers every Saturday night. The main controversy will alway be duffers like The Reverend Cole (and in the past John Sargent, Russel Grant, Ann Widdicombe etc) being voted in by the public at the expense of other dancers more skilled. The other bone of contention is that people like Debbie McGee and Alxandra Burke and others, have a lot of previous dance experience again making it an unlevel playing field. The only way to take it is just watch and enjoy never expecting rules to be adhered to. I watch it for the dance and enjoy seeing the real triers doing well. It's good light-hearted entertainment, but a serious show it surely ain't. Amazing though how many sportsmen have entered and done really well: Colin Jackson, Darren Gough, Matt Dawson, Kenny Logan, Austin Healey,Joe Calzhage, Martin Offiah,Roger Black, Mark Ramprakash, Peter S hilton, Audley Harrison, Louis Smith, Phil Tuffnel and lots more ...just to mention the men (even the beloved Robbie Savage was a twinkletoes)Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 12:31 pm

All in all, you take it or leave it as you find it. Whenever the public vote is involved, common sense and fairness go out the window. Kids with mobiles sensible? Yeah....That's about it. I'll miss it till next year, that's for sure.
p.s. If you're in a mood for throwing things at the telly, Strictly's your huckleberry..

I'm amazed that Audley Harrison did quite well. To go with my George Foreman Grill I bought an Audley Harrison toaster. It was 4ucked after two rounds. Ithangyou
The only one of these type of shows I follow is Materchef, and even then it often comes down to the luck of the draw.

Yes, yes I do. That's usually more to do with Lord Sugar (whose grandchildren have to address him as Lord Sugar, trust me, I know the mother of two of them) picking the least wankerish out of a bunch of wankers.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 1:34 pmDo you not watch The Apprentice too?Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 1:32 pmI'm amazed that Audley Harrison did quite well. I'm surprised Audley's partner survived; he wears size 17 shoes, I kid you not.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 1:32 pmI'm amazed that Audley Harrison did quite well. To go with my George Foreman Grill I bought an Audley Harrison toaster. It was 4ucked after two rounds. Ithangyou
