What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Tango, have you seen the TV series on Netflix? Just called Reacher
Yes mate. That's the one I mentioned above. I have hopes it may do the trick. Time will tell. I tried to watch the latest Bond film, it's absolute piffle. Time to put the Beretta away James. I've also seen a couple of the latest Tom Clancy's "Jack Ryan" films which are better. I think I may be getting a bit too old for the stunt man action scene. Maybe I should start over again with the Famous Five. :D

p.s. Just started watching "The Looming Tower", based on the Bin Laden story. Looks promising
Amazon Prime have Jack Ryan series 1 & 2 starring John Krasinski and the ever excellent Wendel Pierce. They're a good watch!

Currently juggling House of Dragons, Rings of Power and that Netflix Imaginary Girlfriend of the College Football Star thing

Been watching The Capture starring the lovely Holliday Grainger. Entertaining if not brilliant. Bit of police action, spy stuff and a hint of Black Mirror dystopia.

Still wading through The Looming Tower and though Bin Laden and el Qaeda is old hat, I find it fascinating to watch the blame battle between CIA and FBI. Supposedly based on fact. Good acting.

Watched "Wrath of man" for a bit of entertainment. Nobody does menace/ action like Jason Statham so you know what you're going to get. :Jedi:

I only intended to watch parts of it, but it was so impressive a display. That was some tiring walk for those involved. Nobody does pomp like the Brits.

Yes, a proper send off. Some cracking hymns and all the pomp and circumstance you’d expect from Great Britain. Find myself more attached to the royal family then I thought I was. Felt for them all today having such a tough day exposed to the entire world. Hope they’ve got their feet up tonight along with all those who took part, foot perfect.

Saw the first series of this on B.B.C I Player, and have just started the second. Could such technology really happen/is happening?

Watched Woodstock 99 on Netflix this weekend. It's decent. Some great footage and the creeping realisation that everything's about to go very badly wrong.
On a very similar theme, I've just watched Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened on Netflix.

Definitely recommended to anyone who found Woodstock 99 of interest.

Finished Series 1 last night and watched Series 2 Episode 1. Exactly as you say, entertaining if not brilliant - very much midweek stuff.

Also watched Episode 1 of Marcella, which it turns out is about five years old. Still, not bad by the looks of things and enhanced splendidly by having the delightful Anna Friel (so that'll be Beth Jordache then to most on here) playing the lead.

Not tonight but last night I went to the Octagon Theatre to see a new adaptation of The Book Thief.

It's been written as a musical and is debuting at the Octagon. I'm not much of a reviewer but I can only say I urge you to catch it if you can. Runs until 15th October.
