What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I see there is a new Jimmy McGovern three-parter tonight for those in need of a pick me up.
Aye, strong cast too. I've set the whatever the feck it is that records stuff these days. Well, I've set that. 😊
Don't know if any of you caught 'Time', by the way, but certainly worth your while watching the first ep on catch up if not.

Some superb acting from both Stephen Graham (of course) and Sean Bean, whose characters are both heading towards dark places.

Very intense and, though I've never set foot inside a prison I can imagine it to be a lot like this.
Finished it last night. I felt oddly nonplussed at the ending, which I gather was more to do with my tiredness than the climax, but regardless a fantastic watch. Surprised it didn't come with subtitles for those not used to Scouse accents.
Nero fiddles while Gordon Burns.

Episode 2 of ‘The Queens gambit’. Not something I’d usually pick but quite enjoying it!

80% of the time, F1 is pretty dull, but when it's good, oh my. What a race. What a driver.

100% of the time it's a dull procession which would benefit greatly from having Fairy Liquid squirted on to the corners.

And making them drive Reliant Robins. Tedious shite. And LH is a reet wanker. In fact I can't think of any likeable racing drivers apart from possibly that Button chap.

I know nowt about F1 and care less. But I do often wonder why Brits love serial (but incredibly dull) Roger Federer yet loathe their own incredible (but also dull) Lewis Hamilton. Is it cos he's a boy made good and supports positive causes? Or just because we don't like people of our own nationality who do well?

Surely about personality? You either like people or you don't, whatever they do for a living. Nothing stranger than folk. I find it hard to be overly enthusiastic about someone I've never met, and the thought of flag-waving folk camping out for a couple of nights to see the new Royal baby, or racing watch cars flash past at two hundred miles per hour...well whatever floats your boat.?

I remember standing on Moss Bank Way, many years ago with the rest of our school in the rain to see her majesty eventually flash past in a gleaming cavalcade of indifference. Even at that tender age I thought it as crackers. I still do
