What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I fail to see how Sugar can elect a winner in this year's The Apprentice, as the final two have bullshitted their way there.
One has absolutely no credible business whatsoever. Claimed to be a designer of PJ'S yet has never designed anything. Then tried to play the green credentials card whilst actually planning to bring in any old shit from China.
The other one claims to own a bakery business which, it transpires, she only owns half of.
The editing on that programme is so ridiculous it's turned it into some kind of parody. Everyone but Sugar are made to look like numpties. They do market research on finished products that they 'cant' alter, the team and the sub team separate but then seemingly cant keep in touch so they know what each other is doing etc etc.

Reality TV is less reality and more entertainment nowadays.
Agree entirely. There's also this cringeworthy level of choreography now - every time any of them move as a group.

After many years of watching, I think this might be my last. we'll see.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Watched a couple of films, Entebbe and The Diplomat. Latter was a M.I.6 chases a suitcase bomb etc, etc. Watchable but nothing special. Entebbe was a semi documentary about the Airline hijack and hole-up in Uganda in 1976 and the subsequent Special Forces rescue.. Decent film made better by a clever dance choreography (The Chair Dance) played around it. Enjoyed that one.

Being a history buff, I just watched a fascinating documentary on the Bayeux Tapestry. Totally riveting especially the shipbuilding section. Recommended.

Just watched Amazon primes new release the ‘Arsene Wenger - invincible’ documentary. Fantastic viewing! Not just for the brief glimpse of my son who was mascot in his last home match, but for an Arsenal fan who, though I watched my first game in George Graham’s reign, spent much of my teens/twenties enjoying the Wenger glory years. Proper lovely trip down memory lane!

Anyone watching the Ipcress File(s)

Really enjoying it. A series based on the Len Deighton book which had a young Michael Caine portraying the anti-hero Harry Palmer in the '70s film.

Taboo, with Tom Hardy.

Think we only have two left to watch. It's excellent. Really, really good.

Totally agree. I've seen the whole of that a bit back.. Tom Hardy is perfect for the part.

Didn't he write it and fund it I heard. Very much a vanity vehicle for him but yes, I enjoyed it too.

Seen T.H in quite a few things, always good, but he'll always be Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders for me. :D

Ah, something else I meant to mention, and that's how refreshing it is to see Stephen Graham, fine actor though he is, not playing a bloody Scouser.

Ah, no. I meant in Taboo. I've never seen Peaky Blinders.
Fair enough. I need to revisit Taboo. Can't remember what happened. And yes, it probably is my age.

Ah, sorry Bruce, my error. If you haven't seen Peaky Blinders you've missed one of the best drama series ever from B.B.C. After six series, viewing figures were 3.8 million reaching 4.1 mil overnight. Utterly phenomenal series. Do watch it...
