The Greatest EVER.........American programme on British TV.
Oh now come on!!
There really is only one show for this category.
SCRUBS!
Never really bothered with it until lately. Yet once I'd watch a few episodes, I was crying with laughter. This is beyond any doubt the greatest TV show to come out of America in decades!!
Any of you partial to a bit of yank?

Absolitely love Scrubs aswell. Its one of the very few programmes left on Telly that I still give a childlike 'oh yes' to when I see thats its coming on.
Also, older Simpsons and Futurama.
Can't think of many others that I like.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm thinking-
Twin Peaks
Frasier
The Simpsons

Oh, you've got to give it a go Hoss! It's on E4, between 1800hrs and 1900hrs.CrazyHorse wrote:I've spent many hours enjoying a good yank....
Never seen Scrubs. I used to love Cheers back in the day, though I saw a repeat not so long ago and it was actually a bit poo.![]()
What about The Muppet Show?
It's that funny, Batman would say it's shite!!

Hate many, love others. Seinfeld, Frasier, My Name Is Earl, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Mummy, you'd love that one
), Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm, House, South Park, M*A*S*H... but I think for longevity with quality, originality, humour, warmth and truth I'd have to go for The Simpsons.

Can't believe I didn't put The Sopranos on my answer, knew I'd forgotten something.

The Sopranos is good. How can you make a monster like Tony Soprano seem likeable?CrazyHorse wrote:The Sopranos.
Never seen this one either but my Dad (who only normally watches Formula 1) swears by it.
The best ever TV for me, was Murder One. If you can't appreciate the superb writing, casting and production there's always Bobbie Phillips and a few others to lust after. The box set is about twenty quid from HMV. Utterly superb.
I'm a big fan of Steven Bochco's other work, like Hill Street Blues and LA Law. David Kelley's stuff is good too, particularly The Practice, which I believe hasn't been shown on British main stream TV.
