All filmed within a half mile radius in Horwich by the looks of it, god knows how many mentions for the Whites - loved the picture of his lad's face on the Lofthouse picture from '58 and the mid 90's one. BWFC obviously have been involved in it somewhere when you notice the signed shirt in the car showroom etc, fair play for getting the advertisement!

It was alriiiiight, but I wouldn't class it as a comedy, I didn't laugh once. Pretty cool seeing the reebok though, Mock the Week seemed to be having a fair go at Bolton today so this was quite nice!

Yeah was incredibly disappointed to see Mock The Week rip Bolton to shreds as a town!

As for The Cup....it was ok. Will continue to watch it for the Wanderers coverage but it wasn't that funny

Where's your sense of humour? Thought it was pretty funny hearing them take the piss out of Bolton.

MTW is one of the best shows on telly. Of course only IMHO.

Thought The Cup was good too; not exactly laugh a minute but nice and subtle.

Agreed ... & they weren't having a go at Bolton. It was in context of last weeks "everyone should move down South" stuff & they joked around the idea of the whole of Bolton turning up in Oxford looking for housing & jobs. Why Bolton ? ... no idea, but it was hardly an attack.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I do love MTW. Frankie Boyle & Russell Howard are superb.

I didn't actually hear the whole comments about Bolton, caught the last parts of it so to me it sounded like a bit of an attack. Happy to be proved wrong and retract my comments! I shall watch it on Sky+ this weekend & review it

I've seen it enough times to know I don't want to watch it anymore! How else would I know? Otherwise I'd just be assuming things with no knowledge of the subject of where I speak...and that's not my bag.

It's an odd one for me, it has some funny comedians in Hugh and Frankie but in Hugh's case I feel like he doesn't quite fit the show and in Frankie's case I just feel he's wasted. Mainly though, I really don't find the host funny and whoever writes for him wants shooting as well.

My wife likes it though.
