Woman hit by mobility scooter
EDIT: Can i point out that i am sorry for the woman involved and hope she makes a good recovery, but somewhere in my sick brain, the idea of someone making off in a scooter after a hit and run seemed funny ..)
Thought some of you might need cheering up after last mights predictable farce (i was there when we lost to Bury, i wasn't going through it again, besides i was at work til 8.30!)
POLICE are hunting the hit and run driver of a mobility scooter who left a 77-year-old woman with horrific leg injuries.
The elderly man crashed into Dorothy Hudson, aged 77, as she walked along Knowsley Street in Bolton town centre.
But instead of stopping, he fled the scene on the scooter.

i wish the minority of users who do daft things like ride on the road in heavy traffic and make things worse, or those impatient ones who scutch around like they are on some big race and have a go at you if you don't instantly let them through..
