That's classic Tory.

Unbelieveable. Surely nobody with a brain could vote for this lot?

Though the responses are good....

Those little images are constantly churned out by the young people running the social media of all parties, this one is obviously a bit silly and unfortunately for them it has 'gone viral', the wallies.

They claim the Chancellor has ignored them in favour of sedentary leisure pursuits and alcoholic liquids served through a pump.
There was also anger from people who race ride-on lawnmowers while drinking mead.
That's not a leopard!

What I don't get is how they think cutting beer duty is ever going to help normal folk. Has anybody ever seen beer prices go down after one of these cuts?!

I can :D. + worked in a pub for six years. Prices tended to go up, with a delay, when duty went up (though not necessarily every time it went up 1p), and stay the same whether it went down or stayed the same. I never once saw prices go down.

That's the key thing, no excuse for the beer companies/pub companies to add 10p for a 2p duty rise. Best thing he ever did was to stop that year on year rise.

I get that, it's just a bit sophistic to try to argue that it means more money in yer pocket. Plus it's one fecking p. And you can bet next time it goes up 2p, they'll still be sticking 10p on. Just went up 15p in our gaff anyway!

Same could be said for Labour Insano given the way they have put us in the deepest rut since Thatcherism. Personally I don't think a political party deserves my vote and I am supposedly one of the more interested people of my age group when it comes to politics. The more I read and hear the less faith I have in any of the slimy upper class b**tards that run all the various political parties.

On a different note: I am Sort of angry but more than anything confused. I was led to believe by the media and by most people that Salford is turning a corner and going through an upturn, given I am looking for jobs in the area it worry's me somewhat that unemployment in Salford has risen by 1.8% in the last year and in Bolton unemployment has been jumping each quarter from 9.5% to 10% and then back again for the last 2 years. So the question I am really asking is this whole "recovery" thing actually happening or is it more that one part of the country has found a way to improve its situation at the expense of other regions?
