I have not the foggiest at the moment who I will vote for tbh.

Never voted Tory, No chance of supporting Corbyn and our globe trotting MP, ditto Lib Dems because of Clegg and the current clown, UKIP served its purpose, it's going to be bloody hard work for once I'm a floating voter.

Not voting is not an option, people died to make sure I had a vote and not to use, it however hard, would be disrespectful, going to be an interesting few weeks ahead.

May's excuse for backtracking on the election is fairly weak. I mean article 50 has been voted through, Labour/Lib Dems aren't going to be blocking the process. Labour don't even want to officially.

The real reason is purely self preservation. She knows there is zero chance she won't win. So is just a question of how much she can improve the majority by.

That then protects her in the event of a Brexit problem, cock-up or recession.

It also means she can do what she wants without having to worry about outsiders on either side of her own party.

So the election is a selfish one for May, in my view. It is only for her own good, not the country.

Given things change over time, Hobes, who do you think will deliver what is closest to your expectations on Brexit?

The reason I ask, is they now have the opportunity to spell out what Brexit will actually look like (below the "Brexit means Brexit" soundbite that actually tells you Fck all). They also have the ability to change its shape and whoever is elected will tell you that their democratic mandate is this one (rather than any previous one).

What are your thoughts regarding this? If for example the Lib Dens were elected, which I don't believe they will be then Brexit would almost certainly end up a different shape than the one I suspect you envisage...but all parties now have the opportunity to adapt Brexit's "shape"

Oft repeated this was a "promise" rather than the reduction in EU fees could be used for a variety of things including the NHS. Just continuing to state "promise" doesn't make it so.
