Cats or Dogs?
I don't mind cats, but they make me sneeze and my eyes run. Dogs are far more entertaining and friendly anyway.
Which of our two favourite domestic pets do you prefer? And if you have one, post a photo of it.
(You can tell there's bog all happening at the moment )

I thought it was common knowledge that the intelligence, class and general sleekness of cats makes them infinitely (and I don't use the word lightly) superior to those awful-smelling, slobbering, barking, sh1tting machines.
Maybe it's not as commonly known as I thought, and an intensive education programme is required?

Got a two and a half year old Shit-hzu. Good fun, good company and great as a guard dog (barks the house down day or night if anybody opens the garden gate). Minus side, worse than having a small child in terms of scattering thing all over the house, expensive, sulks if you tell him off, finicky eater and needs walking twice a day.
Had a cat, just like Puskas's avatar, for fifteen years. Great animal, clean, bags of pesonality, independent and needed little attention apart from feeding. I miss that cat even now and she's been dead five years or more.

Fifty odd years ago I used to ramble for miles with my dog in various areas to the North West of Bolton (I supposed half of it is built over now for housing estates). She was a bull terrier. There were occasions on these rambles, and indeed at home when odd people came round, I was glad to have her and not my cats for company. So I voted for dogs.

Since moving to London, though, it's been cats. Well, two. Brother and sister from a Bolton litter. The female is still alive and into her 16th year. Couldn't have a dog as we're both out all day and it wouldn't be fair on the dog. Cat just pop's into next door.
