What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Scones look lovely Bruce. May have a go at making some cheese ones today. They're lovely warm out the oven with a bit of butter...

You're right, Bish. Probably a minute over, but I like stuff that's slightly over anyway. Very chuffed with how they turned out (fluffy inside - nom, nom, nom ;) )

made a pear & chocolate (with ground almonds) puff-pie today...

it is officially yum - though the kids wouldn't eat it! (middle son: "what's the deal with pears AND chocolate? :conf: ")

Weirdos. Pears and chocolate have been getting it on together for years.

I'm having Spanish mountain stew. The mountain has been simmering on the hob for a week and is still looking as tough as nails.

Pan fried pheasant breast in marsala with colcannon.

First attempt at both cooking and eating pheasant. Probably a little overcooked, but still enjoyable. Not sure I would use marsala again as it seemed to mask most of the flavour from the pheasant.

mmmm. Or pheasant hasn't anywhere near the level of flavour you may expect.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

That's what I suspected tbh. The sauce was excellent, even if I do say so myself. 8) Will deffo use the marsala with the duck breasts that I have though.

Moose this evening. Never had it before so thought I'd give it a go. Was a bit pricey so I have high hopes for it.
