What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

A lettuce shortage? Whatever next? I'll have to fend it off with sausage, egg and chips. :)

Tesco are punting out bottles of their own Pouilly Fume for valentines at £12.

Now if £12/bottle of anything makes you blanche, fair play, go and have a danger w*nk over Amanda Platell or whatever you do for your kicks.

For the rest, if you're having seafood, chicken or fish - lump on. Very nice bottle indeed. Considering you normally have to sell a limb for decent wines from the appellation, fair play to Tesco. Whose selection I normally have little time for.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Yup - was "ok". Missus and kids thought it was great. My view - food, fair to middleton.

7 of us last night. 5 including me, sided with your missus and kids.

Drinks were bloody extortionate though £5.50 for a bottle of beer  . I had to work out my position in the rounds so that my 2nd round was in the much cheaper Wetherspoons next door :D

I'm in a small town north of Milan called Gallarate. Like most of Italy Bars are few and far between but the ones there are (and I'm just sat in the 3rd I've found this week) all have the most amazing spread of free snacks on the bar! I'm talking cold cuts, cheeses, breads, dips, salads and pastas! It's incredible. I've got £50 a day per dium. I could stay here and buy 10 pints (Moretti La Rosso btw!) and eat my fill. Or go the local restaurant and get a glass of wine and a pizza!

A mate of mine has property in Spain. The bars in the town all give you a plate of tapas when you order a drink. This has led to him refusing to go for a tapas meal when he's back home as he believes it should be free with paid-for drinks.

Due to the wife's incapacitation right, now I'm doing all sorts of things including the week's shopping at the supermarket. I don't do breakfasts and in lieu of lunch after the shopping I just had a couple of sandwiches. Come teatime I was well up for an all day special, bacon, scrambled egg, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, butter beans and two potato cakes. Followed it up with strawberries and double cream and well, it was gradely, just gradely.... :D

went to the Eagle and Child in Rammy last week, its just been done up a treat!

grub was good before and its even better now. wouldnt bother with the arty-farty starters but the mains were very impressive.

has (literally i think) taken the best Cheese & Onion Pie in the world crown from the shoulder!

Northcote Manor for lunch yesterday. Absolutely magnificent, as ever. Did the seasonal menu. Had the Seaweed Marinated Mackerel, Jersey Royal Potato Salad, Dill Pickle to start, and the Roasted Salmon, Shitake Mushroom, Wilted Watercress, Soy for mains. Absolutely sensational. Selection of Cheese, House Crackers, Breads, Fireside Chutney to finish. Fantastic. £80 a head with wines and worth every penny.
