Not very hard is it? He went in from underneath it (Still stuck from the top, and just turned around and slapped two pieces of tape on the bottom. :D I am sure one of the corners was looser than the others, but that's about it.

seanworth wrote:Well soldier I would stick with your first suggestion. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest has an ending that still sticks with me after all these years. The entire movie was classic and had a fitting end.

Worst endings are tough, because many of the movies listed above I thought were simply crap movies. I loved the end of Matrix 2 (only one I saw) because it meant the movie was over and I was finally being put out of my misery after watching possibly one of the worst movies ever made. Jaws 4 never saw but didn't the entire movie suck?

Of recent films watched Blood Diamond was quite disappointing. A quick convenient way to bring a pseudo happy ending to a movie that had little happiness throughout the film. The film I enjoyed, but I did not need to made to feel good before leaving the cinema. Seen enough blood diamonds getting flaunted to think that a couple of pictures will solve the problem.
Guuuud bless ya Sean, I could natter your ear off about all your points until the pumps ran dry! :D

The ending to Hulk was pants.

The ending to Quantum of Solace and Indian Jones 4 were worse.

Hola!

None, thankfully. An excellent trip all-round, glorious weather, a half full resort meant lots of room.

Beaches were a bit disappointing and the food was so-so but a good time was had by all.

Never saw Hulk, but the Indiana Jones ending ruined a semi-decent movie.

A film buff? Get in.

The Wicker Man for my money, or the original Solaris. The final shot was jaw-dropping.

Well, I never really did quite get over the disappointment of when Toto pulled the curtain back, thus revealing the Wizard to be nothing more than an old bloke with a load of controls going on, but I'm not sure if that counts?! :?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Only in waves. I can go months without seing any movies. And then practically live at the Cornerhouse. Catch more theatre in the average year. But those two movies above are just brilliant. Do you know them? :D

Incidentally WTW, did you ever see the Antonio Gades film versions of Carmen and Boda de Sangre? Both based on dance schools but excellent stuff. Very clever double plot in Carmen where the dance teacher leaves you wondering wether he actually kills the dancer playing Carmen for real.

I know you like Lorca but did you ever see the Spanish version of Death of a Poet? That was a very good film also.

Donnie Darko...now I think the ending's good. Others think it's terrible. kind of depends on if you get it I suppose

Good
Original Planet of the Apes
Reservoir Dogs
Fight Club
Usual Suspects (which reminds me, I'm due a re-watch)
American Beauty
Deer Hunter
Terminator 2
Alien3 (made up for an average film, and yet they still brought it back)

Bad
Indi 4, goddamn spaceship

I've missed a few days on this.

How about The Shining?

SPOILER ALERT

Crazed madman is lured into maze where he gets tired, and dies of Hypothermia?

Plausible, but unspectacular to say the least.

I saw Blood Wedding. I didn't see Death of a Poet. Would love to have seen it. Was it a documentary?

Just tried to find it on a movie database - without luck. Any further info would be appreciated - as you say I really like Lorca.
