Strategy War Games
Fed up of Football Manager and got a bit of time on my hands. What Strategy war game do folk recommend for the PC? I had Close Combat years ago and wondered if there was owt similar out there. Any ideas/recommendations?

The Combat Mission games are great, probably graphically dated now, but great tactical fun and not a click fest like some of the strategy genere.Harry Genshaw wrote:Fed up of Football Manager and got a bit of time on my hands. Not played it myself but I believe 'The East India Co' is epic

Don't buy Rome TW it's pants. By far the best was Shogun but that's nearly 10 years old now. Medieval II TW is ok and ETW looks like it's shaping up but a bit too early to tell. Napoleon TW is the next in line.James B wrote:the total war games
