Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

It was everything we hoped it would be, a fabulously entertaining production that had the audience on their feet at the end.

Not "tonight", but today, me and the wife ( and the dog) observed the Good Friday/Easter sometime walk tradition. I started doing this as a fourteen year old when we churchgoers used to walk up Church Road, across Moss Bank, up Barrow Bridge Road, Sixty Three steps and over the hills and back again. It was nothing then, couldn't manage that now and the wife's knees are knackered, but we went from Plodder Lane down by the Dell to Bishops Road across that to the lane at the end, up by Wildman's farm, where the smell of manure is stronger than anywhere else I've ever been (Harry's liquid fertiliser is world famous all over Farnworth.. ) and over to the hospital. From there we took the path that eventually leads back to Plodder Lane, down that and back to Bradford Road and home.

Lovely day and enjoyed it.

That is impressive at your age. :D

Had a lovely walk round Tockholes woods and Upper Roddlesworth Reservoir with my wife and son. Weather great and beautiful location.

Last night - Ginger Wildheart at The Citadel in St Helens. Despite me knowing hardly any of the songs they were superb. Looking forward to thee next one :oyea:

The support band - The Scaramanga Six - best treated with caution!

More a case of where I won't be going tonight. As I'm sure some of you know, The Railway in Bromley Cross puts bands on. However, recently the owners have announced that they're going to close it down due to a downturn in trade which they blamed on, amongst other things, the fact that the Clitheroe trains haven't been running.
Being as I've a free evening this evening I decided to see if they've anyone on, and they have, some pub rock band for whom to see they require an entrance fee of £10!!!!!!!!

Off to Montauk after work today, staying at a friend's house by the lake.

This is the lake. That's the Atlantic Ocean

Well that was an almost wasted weekend. Got there friday evening, got tw*tted friday night then had to wake up at 7.30am for a round of golf. Did that, came back, had food and then basically slept for 15 hours! Still, peaceful and all that.

Montauk Downs golf course is lovely btw. Lots of deer milling around. Also has a interestingly shaped clubhouse

Thankfully, going nowhere tonight. It's thundering and lightning and with a quite vicious hailstorm in Farnworth right now. Dog is sulking upstairs. He hates this stuff. Garden and pavements are whited over already.

Went to the ol' theatre last night I did. Specifically, Barrow St theatre in the village to watch Stolen House, an improvised play where a bunch of improv people take over aa existing theatre set that hasn't been taken down yet and then improvise a play. Could have easily fallen on its arse, but the five people doing it were clearly in their element and it was very funny. Really interesting idea

Wow. How brave?! However, you need to go again just to make sure that they hadn't scripted their ad libs ;)

I was thinking about it actually! They're doing another night in the same theatre (so same set I assume) tonight at 8.

There's an interval, so i imagine they do some planning in those ten minutes in terms of resolving characters. Indeed the one main gripe i had was that the second half was mainly about tying in these resolutions and it seemed to have less 'flow'.

There was one gag at the end that I was very suspicious of in terms of its spontaneity, but I'll let it slide.
