Doesn't really sound serious.

'Hit a fire hydrant coming out of his driveway'
'Airbags were not set off suggesting a low speed crash'

Seen those quotes on the BBC. Still, hope he's Ok though.

Is "water hazard" too much of a stretch?

Really weird story this one!

Any internet half truths out there for us to speculate over?

Got it to a tee.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

This actually is very, very odd.

Leaves the house at 2am, drives first into a hydrant & then into a tree at low enough speed not to set off the air bags, but he's unconscious with a scratched face and has to be dragged from the car whence he cannot be revived easily.

There's a story & a half here.

Somebody will claim shortly that there were birdies involved.

Police will need an Eagle eye to spot this one. It could end up being an albatross around his neck. These are golf jokes, by the way.

The so called paper was the National Enquirer and not a proper one.

Something does seem amiss regarding this story though.

Yeah I had no idea whether it was in the US equivalent of the Daily Mirror in fairness just adding to the old rumour mill!

He's been sleeping around, they've had a barney about it and she's attacked him with a golf club. He has run away to his car to escape the mental Swede, she smashed his back window as he was driving away causing him to swerve and hit the fire hydrant.

Opinion, of course

Sounds good enough for me. Think I will stick with that story. What a wuss, afraid of the chicken swedes.

Is there some sort of Gillette curse going on? First Henry's villified for handball, and now Tiger's had a domestic. Let's just wait for Federer's bestiality to come to the fore to obliterate all the clean cut images and it's a full house. Or summat.

Always wondered what happened with the cows that Feds gets for winning tournaments.
