Got on with the model ship I got at Christmas. Not child's play. Hull is double-planked. Long way to go. Here's the progress for anybody interested in modelling:

Put some cannons on it and sail it down the Thames. Next stop whatever Arsenals new ground is, the name escapes me, and don't spare the balsa wood!
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

there's some gaps in the wood - you need some 2 by 2

On which note:

Henry Kissenger goes into a lumber yard and says, "I'd like a piece of 2-by-2, please".

"Of course, Henry," says the man there, "How long do you want it?"

"How long?" replies Henry, "I want to keep it"

After watching James May's Toy Stories I thought about getting some Airfix in as I used to like those as a kid, but not sure I'd put the effort into it really.

Ignore the non-believers, TANGO. There is much relaxation and pleasure in building models. I'm working on Claudia Schiffer at the moment.

Were you aware that a certain super model had a toilet built in the steam room she had in her house?
It was a cloudier sh*tter.

The first picture looks like the aftermath of one of my MFI visits.

Always used to make me smile when they said on the adverts, "A child of ten could put it together."

You'd better send him round then! :D

For Raven. Still a way off being finished, but it's looking like a ship now. Taken me three and a half months toget this far.
