Baseball pitch invader vs tazer

Post by rockthereebok » Thu May 06, 2010 4:48 pm

For anyone who hasn't seen it this is shocking (pardon the pun) but also rather funny.

Less entertaining than an old fashioned rugby tackle I'm afraid :(

The crowd seem to be able to tell it was "just" a tazer. I'm not sure how.

To my eye it looks like he'd been shot.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Another over-reaction from the yanks. Its like their foreign policy in microcosm.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Indeed. Absolutely shocking.

In the 'current' climate, I think that was acceptable.

Surely it's nothing more than assault and battery?

I suppose considering everything there are 'positives' and 'negatives'.

Except they actually won this one. It's been a while.

(Avoiding all the battery puns, as I'd prefer to be 'ever ready' for a 'long life' !)

I'm told another fan ran on the day after (How daft?), but was not tasered...

What does that even begin to mean?

Did the intruder spoil a ohms run? Apparently, the security guy is being asked why he was insulate?

If you were at a wedding you might toast the bride or you might catch the bride's bouquet. But you might also throw confetti. Confetti is traditionally little bits of paper. How else can you create small bits of paper? Yes, that's right, with a shredder. And what does a shredder have to collect the bits? Of course, it's a bin.

So if you get tazered at a baseball game you must win Dusty Bin!

On a serious note imagine if the police over here had those things... It's like they get some sort of buzz out of using them.

They do have them, although you have to be holding up a bank with a banana in your coat pocket I think.
