The Greatest Comedy Duo of ALL Time Is....

Post by malcd1 » Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:24 am

Gavin and Stacy stars James Corden and Mat Horne have been voted the greatest comedy duo of all time, according to a recent poll.

Corden and Horne received 16% of the votes, with Morecambe and Wise taking 15%, followed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas and Peter Kay and Paddy McGuinness.

I thought Gavin and Stacy was a drama not a comedy.

Thats the biggest load of bollocks I've ever read. What morons "voted" on this?

For once I'd agree with Hoboh. Anyone voting for these two muppets should just have the bullet treament.

It's a "nice" show, but it's not hugely funny...

Thing is FD I can't stand them. Or the "show".

But that aside how they could ever be described as a "comedy double act" is beyond me.

And what makes Kay and McGuiness a "double act"?

Are any two comics who have worked on the same show now a "double act"?

Surely the greatest comedy duo of all time title belongs to the West Ham owners - the Spunk Brothers? 8)

Well, apart from the duo yet to come ... Keilty and Henry, ably assisted by Gina Yashere .... the two, undisputed champions, always were, are and always will be Morcambe & Wise.

On a related topic, I heard recently a story of the poor mans, correction .... the very-very poor mans, version, Mike & Bernie Winters. Playing at a theatre in Glasgow on came one of them & started the show. The second then came ob stage & a shout from the back came " .... oh shit, there's TWO of them !!".
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

:wall:
There was a bit in the local paper a while back stating that the fat f*kc Corden was seen shopping at Tesco's in Ryde, on a sat morning. They listed items he bought, bread, sandwich meat etc. After he was 'spotted' by some sharp eyed locals, Tesco opened up a special till for him 'to facilitate his shopping experience'. I kid you not. My wife spends hundreds of pounds in feckin' Tesco every week, does she get her own till to facilitate her shopping experience? Does she F*kc.
I wish I'd have seen him in the car park, I'd have run the Bstrd over...................................
