Re: The athletics/running thread
Happy to contribute. It's a wonderful place. As some on here know I lost my Dad to cancer last year and the care he received there was fantastic. He also raised money for it by running the London marathon in the mid 90s after they looked after my grandad.Beefheart wrote:Bump for pay day!Beefheart wrote:Doing some fundraising for the half marathon with a couple of mates for Bolton Hospice.
Any donations greatly appreciated.

Best of luck. I'll be watching so will give you a shout!

Re: The athletics/running thread
Nope. At lytham with my parkrun touring mate. Not even the slightest of inclines in sight. I'll not be joining him to support tranmere away at Southport afterwards though. Git.Bruce Rioja wrote:Anyone at Bowton tomorrer then?

Can't do it, Dude. Have to get home and showered, get to mum's to say HB (oh, and buy her summat in between) then be in Preston for cricket for 12:30LeverEnd wrote:Nope. I can only assume I've accidentally made an A-Team reference.

Good luck to everyone running Bolton Half Marathon this weekend (including our own Beefheart)
Shame I can't be there.
Just done my own 11 mile homage to it though.

Entered the Bury 10k on 18th September. My first at that distance. #prayfordryweather
Re: The athletics/running thread
It went pretty horrifically. Finished in like 2.35 which was slower than even my worst training run. Thinking of doing the Manchester half in a few weeks. Finished though...LeverEnd wrote:How did you get on Beefy? Missed you at the finish.
