Yes mate. Me too. Not many breaks in the weather for outdoors. I'm doing the ZWIFT WTRL TTT on Thursday evenings. Usually a flattish course but balls out for 50 minutes in teams of four. Good fun.jimbo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:31 amZwifting? Well, who knew that 12 weeks of uncut hair weighs a stone and a half?
Just had a thing to say that there's a 10k on in Leeds in June. Do you know about this one, LE?

I managed my 2 week goal of 50km. But I now have a biffins like a belisha beacon.

42 miles out on the bike today, first along the horrid A5 before venturing through some lovely Chilterns countryside. First time I've ridden that far in a long long time. Loved it and, more importantly, not a hint of pain.
Now for pasta and a bath, although not at the same time.

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding or missing a joke, but no! Just had to do 10 miles on the A-roads out of london before hitting the nice bit.Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 1:50 pmKeyserSoze wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 1:36 pm42 miles out on the bike today, first along the horrid A5 before venturing through some lovely Chilterns countryside. Added an extra five miles as the tube stopped at Wembley, reminded me how awful cycling in built-up london is

Nice. I’ve not done any TTTs. Tend to race once a week, and then mix in workouts and social meet-ups with mates. I’ve just jumped up into cat B which has been a huge step up. Legs currently wrecked after trying to cling on last night.Gary the Enfield wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 12:40 pmYes mate. Me too. Not many breaks in the weather for outdoors. I'm in CatA at the moment. Not a particularly strong cyclist but by Christ I'm stubborn.jimbo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 9:00 amNice. I’ve not done any TTTs. Fair play bashing away in Cat A. That’s the eventual aim as the fitness returns after a few years where the kids took priority!Gary the Enfield wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:00 pmI'm in CatA at the moment. You know, when I initially posted that I saw the double post and thought 'oh I should delete that'. Obviously the body didn't enact what the brain had commanded. Time for a lie down (or two).Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 4:57 pmKeyserSoze wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 3:21 pmNot sure if I'm misunderstanding or missing a joke, but no! 7 miles run last night and then another 3 this morning. All very slow but the first time I’ve run as far as 7 miles in years so happy with that. Have not managed yesterday or today’s abs and squats yet but if my legs let me I will do double later on today.
