Bloody hell, that's horrendous. Was hoping for your sake it'd be a boot and a quick fix.
Hope it all works out anyway.

I recently had a very pleasant trip around Peel Park for the new Peel parkrun. Well recommended, especially for attempts at a PB.
It's a decent flat one isn't it? I did the first one a few months ago. Will definitely revisit at some point.

Sounds like a good one to make a comeback on in the new year. Bruce? HG? We obviously need a few warm ups first, which brings me to the 5k loop near Harry’s followed by breakfast at the new place on the A6!

Dislocated my ankle and fractured my fibula at football on Saturday so don't think I'm running anywhere for a while!
Bloody hell, Pru. If you’re going to do it, you may as well do it properly! Sure you can’t just run it off? 😉 Get well soon, mate!

I felt incredibly bad chatting to his brother on sideline taking the piss before how serious it was became apparent.

Bucket & sponge job Pru and you'll be running it off

Hope it's as swift and painless recovery as possible.

Just caught up on this. Heal quickly Pru.

Why don't you (Bruce and BP) do the couch to 5k? That'll get you out and about at least.

I'm still ticking over but November/ December are quite months for me. Already entered 3 Olympic distance tri's next year and going to do a few Lake swims and sprints. 2022 is NOT about distance but fun.

C to 5k still seems a little daunting to you huh?! Maybe one day if you really try you might get past the first week.

Caber tossing, but that is mainly used to help the dart throwing arm I'm told.

Took a plunge a couple of weeks ago and joined a tri club. They are a good bunch. Looking forward to doing more in the new year but not racing yet, just a more well rounded fitness routine
