I've been letting things slip a little of late, Bish. Anyway, I did 6.25 miles (not K) on the cross trainer, then was 4.1K into my run when the treadmill packed in, the bastard.thebish wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:Another 5K Cross-trainer and a 5K run again tonight. Then I might have a blast on the rowing machine. I hate that bastard thing!
blimey - you're upping the pace recently!

Re: The athletics/running thread
Been very lazy this week. Granted I'm completely out of my routine but I can feel the pounds piling on.
Far too much food going in.

20km this morning in 2h8m14s, lost half a stone in water weight then get to work to find there were no jam donuts at the Friday breakfast. Livid!
Anyone else at Leverhulme tomorrow?

how anyone can run 20km - and then go to work - is beyond me! (especially with no jam donuts!) Good effort!!

I decided I like doing my long runs on Friday mornings as it means I can eat and drink what I want Friday nightthebish wrote:Beefheart wrote:20km this morning in 2h8m14s, lost half a stone in water weight then get to work to find there were no jam donuts at the Friday breakfast. Livid!

Nice to meet Beefheart Sheeran yesterday morning.
Managed to get round Bolton 1:10 quicker than I got round Heaton Park post piss-up with LeverEnd last week. Strange that!

Beautiful evening for a run last night. Nice sedate 6 mile trot round Rivington and Yarrow reservoirs with a mate. Very enjoyable.

Another beautiful evening for running. 78 mins over winter hill and two lads. Might get fit at this rate!

Where are we doing tomorrow, Chaps?
EDIT: The bunch of Pikeys that forced the postponement of Wednesday's Decathlon 5K have now left LHP apparently.
