Pressing charges? You're not gay are you?Gail Platz wrote:I went to Tiggi's a while back and I went outside for a second for some fresh air and got sexually harrassed off some girl with a massive rack coming out of Courtney's. I'm still yet to decide whether it was brilliant or press charges.

Well I don't see the point when you can drive to Blackrod and have 3 generous courses for a tenner at Portofinos

Problem with Tiggi's was that every five minutes you had to listen, at eardrum splitting volume, to Happy Birthday as they fetched some 4ucker's cake out. Another problem was, a team I used to play for trained in the Drill Hall, eight til nine on a Thursday evening. We used to come out, pissed wet through with sweat and starving hungry, to the magnificent smell of cooked garlic coming out of Tiggis. Used to get back to the car looking like one of Pavlov's dogs!Wandering Willy wrote:Lost my garlic bread virginity at Tiggis.
Ate at Ciao Napoli once, was ok but nowt spesh. Ate at Latino Lounge in Bradsher last night - quite poor really, but quite cheap too, and we all know the old addage.

Re: Italian Restaurant in Bolton
When coming home from work tonight I noticed that they'd taken the 'opening soon' signs down. When walking home past it last night there was clear activity inside although the front door was shut. I assumed that they were having either a press night or a dummy run. That I live within a half a mile of the place but as of yet have received nowt through the door (despite getting take-away menu's from as far afield as Daubhill and Bury) AND have sent them an as of yet unanswered enquiring as to when they're looking to open, I can only hope that their nosebag is considerably superior to their outlook on marketing.BWFC_Insane wrote:Is it open yet?CAPSLOCK wrote:You tried our Nam Ploy, yet?

If you're going that way for an Italian why would anyone not go to La Scala on the A6? Same deal, 9.99 for 3 good size course and the quality of food is top notch.

Having had to stand/sit next to too many garlic saturated fellow commuters for an hour and a half got rid of that quaint idea of pleasant aromas drifting in an Italian spring breeze many, many moons ago. It might sound to you to be a bit daft but, although I don't mind eating garlic, I flatly refuse to do so when I am well aware that tomorrow will bring misery to some other poor sods as I trail my left over oily stinking mass around town. Never minded people smelling of garlic. Dujon. I love the stuff, and as I say, the smell of it cooking has me salivating like Roy Hattersley.Dujon wrote:Having had to stand/sit next to too many garlic saturated fellow commuters for an hour and a half got rid of that quaint idea of pleasant aromas drifting in an Italian spring breeze many, many moons ago.
