I think retired out (not retired hurt) and timed out (which has to be wilful) are in there. Handled the ball is now counted as obstructing the field.

Ah yes. Timed out. That’s it. Didn’t know handling the ball is combined with obstructing the field. Interesting.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 9:16 amI think retired out (not retired hurt) and timed out (which has to be wilful) are in there. Yes, timed out is the last one. Good going guys. That’s my cricket knowledge exhausted.

Retired hurt isn’t a dismissal as you can in theory at least return to the crease.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 11:01 amBatsman retired / retired hurt?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 10:36 pmCaughtGooner Girl wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 9:43 pmSo go on then cricket experts, without googling, what are the 10 ways you can get out in cricket?!

It depends on the hurt. A fast bowler once turned my box inside out and I retired both from anything meaningful in the next few days and from cricket (emigrating a month later).BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 11:44 amRetired hurt isn’t a dismissal as you can in theory at least return to the crease.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 11:01 amBatsman retired / retired hurt?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 10:36 pmCaughtGooner Girl wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 9:43 pmSo go on then cricket experts, without googling, what are the 10 ways you can get out in cricket?!

Today I am tired from being woken up early by the 6 year old declaring with glee “there’s a dead rat in the chicken run”. That was a fun pre-breakfast job. Happy Friday everyone.

You must have some tough chickens to take out a rat.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:13 amToday I am tired from being woken up early by the 6 year old declaring with glee “there’s a dead rat in the chicken run”. That was a fun pre-breakfast job. Happy Friday everyone.

They were tucked up in bed! Reckon it must have been next doors cat as our geriatric moggy barely leaves the kitchen these days . It was massive too! Probably the one that ran over my foot the other day in the dark when I was putting them away. Perils of having poultry and living in the countryside near a stream I think.Montreal Wanderer wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 3:25 amYou must have some tough chickens to take out a rat.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:13 amToday I am tired from being woken up early by the 6 year old declaring with glee “there’s a dead rat in the chicken run”. Not sure even you would be able to sleep through Luke! Let’s try it! I’ll send him up for a half term of holiday care at Rioja Towers!Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 11:11 pmApparently the Police helicopter was circling over my house on Friday night/Saturday morning. It'd be interesting to note the additions to his vocabulary if nothing else.

Just sitting next to said child as I read that and he asked “why are you laughing”?! Boy twin coming to watch Arsenal play Spurs with me in a few weeks so he may learn some new language from his mother himself!
