I am going all inclusive to Croatia (Brac Island) later in the year. Fairly reasonable considering it is supposedly a 4 Star hotel. Good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Might be worth checking out Croatia.
There's a few pretty islands down the Adriatic (off Croatia) - Hvar etc. Last I was there, not much to do for the kids though on any of 'em, depending how old the kids are. I guess...

Antisan (spelling?) cream works for me. I get bitten every time I go in the garden

Strange but I'm a walking Big Mac for midges, I found taking antihistamine tablets seemed to stop the buggers biting in the first place, was told they can scent it or something like that and avoid.

They probably bit you after a 19th hole session, flew erratically for a bit, got the munchies and came back for more.

Here's your answer Bruce. Really does work. Wife got both from the chemists (would imagine any supermarket chesmist counter has it, certainly Boots) I got savaged gardening and dog walking a while back . The relief one especially really did the trick for me.

I take antihistamines (prescription strength ones) for my hayfever and they still bite the hell out of me. One way would be to stand next to me (a bit late I know). They love me that much they ignore most other people when I'm around. Or if they like you better, can I stand next to you instead.

Weird that.
I remember being in the departure lounge at Ibiza airport a few years ago and the bloody wild life of the flying type were feasting on quite a few.
On the recommendations of a local worker we ended up coated with vinegar, worked reasonably well but stunk. It didn't totally work as there were swarms of the buggers inside the aircon was faulty.

Very likely they do B.B.if you shop around. I never asked the wife where she got it from and the e-bay link was the one that popped up on Google. . It's the business though, from one who it worked on.

Anyone been to Morocco?
Considering a break at the end of the month and it seems decent accommodation and cheap.
