Green pitch and overheads...albeit a slow pitch. This is incredibly poor. Our attack sadly just isn't in the right shape. Jimmy off the boil. Stokes injured. Robinson certainly nowhere near last summer. Broad is ok but as ever hot and cold. Feels like we're just off the boil bowling wise.

Last year I'd be amazed if we didn't have them 6 or 7 down by now.

As many are saying the England bowling attack just has no rhythm. Lack of match practice. Injuries at the wrong time.

But this is a humiliating battering. And then some.

We've not bowled well. But I wouldn't be giving up after day 1.

The England team look like they have to me. Australia just have too good an attack I think. Unlike NZ or even India they are just too strong for us to come back against.

Get that message to the England team and they needn't turn up tomorrow. Why waste another three or four days fooling ourselves?
