Given that it was 8 for 3 at one point, not as hair-brained a remark as it sounds.

Been in Nagpur for the last three days of this. Fairly turgid and attritional stuff to watch at times, but a series win is a series win. India just didn't look interested for most of the game, and Dhoni's captaincy was woefully unimaginative; the India press have been out to get him for a while now - think this will spell the end for him. Can't see Sachin and Sehwag staying around for long either.
Anyhow, well done England!! A great, well-deserved win.

Indeed. Congratulations. I don't know about England but I do know that it's a rare Australian team that returns from the sub-continent un-bloodied.

'twas a great batting performance today especially from Morgan.

Bowling was poor, too short. But I think the conditions did not favour the bowlers.

Morgan is genius at pacing the chase. Still think we could do with one more really explosive batsman. Someone who can take the game away single handed. Mind everyone wants one of them.....

please update me Aussies. What the hell is going on with Aaron Finch out for 10 today (one day average is 10). I genuinly thought he was going to become a real world beater!

An ODI, I'm afraid. They're never a good guide to form never mind ability. He did better than most of the Windies' players though. All out for 70 with Sundries being the highest scorer with 17. It took the Australians just 9.2 overs to overtake the target to win the match by 9 wickets. Given that the Aussies were lucky to draw a five match ODI series against Sri Lanka I wouldn't be reading anything into the result.
