You must be joking, i'd totally mess it up. He'd be the laughing stock of the playgroup.

Nope ... it's the parents who care.

C'mon GG, you know it.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Let me assure you, you wouldn't really want that.

Anyone know where I can get a French Bulldog, Boston Terrier or Pug for free :)
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

Go on - how much? I have a mate who has a B&B down there who keeps asking me to go down. This might give me the perfect excuse not to go

My dad's relations all lived over in County Mayo. As kids we took the train to Liverpool and caught the ferry to Belfast then another train across most of Ireland. Dread to think what the total would be now as it's £73 return per single passenger and £200 for a car and two people on the ferry alone.

£110 for 2 adults, 2 toddlers and a car return - about a 35 min crossing. It would be way cheaper if you were on your own, without a car and coming back the next day though.

Got to take one of my ducks to the vets this morning. She can't move and isn't getting better. Think her foot or wing is knackered. Spending far too much time there at the moment for my liking :(

Mrs BP is taking one of our rabbits to the vet on Wednesday to have a lump removed. Operation, medication and lab tests = £140

Just got back from ours and my stupid mutt has sensitive skin and on special flea treatment...not that we could find fleas on him!

Best of luck with duck and rabbit.

I've just been too. Noticed that the dogs cheekbone was looking a bit more prominent than usual. Only a bloody abcess - not covered on insurance - looking at £300. He had his anal glands emptied while he was there too. Man, that is one nasty smell. My own glands emptied when I saw the bill :(

I think that the deal I've struck with Our Kid, in that I take his dog on walks but then hand him back at the end, is perhaps a good deal :)

Not sure what's up with dogs today, especially pedigree types. Ours has this sensitive skin thing, scratches madly and tried allsorts to no effect while the vet racks up the costs for medicines. A 57 variety "if" we ever have another dog.
