The aquarium and museum is where we visited today. Much fun was had by all. They've been talking about it for years. And don't forget the 1,000 houses the want to drop on the greenbelt with it....scandalous.
Re: General Chit Chat
Don't follow golf mate, rather watch paint dry so only found out about today on a news report, just wondered how folk felt about it.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:53 pmThey've beeen talking about it for years. Re: General Chit Chat
It's part of the wider GM plan places for everyone. They're nicking greenbelt all over the shop to keep developers happy and build all those affordable £450k houses of the sort you're likely to get on greenbelt. As I said. Scandalous.Hoboh wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 11:45 pmDon't follow golf mate, rather watch paint dry so only found out about today on a news report, just wondered how folk felt about it.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:53 pmThey've beeen talking about it for years. Yup - that's where the fight is! The GM plan has currently just gone to the Secretary of State for review....so we will likely know later in the year.

It's another large area of green belt with some lovely public footpaths and woodland that'll be lost forever. They can shove the Ryder cup up their collective arses.

I went on Cub's camp to Hulton Park when I was a kid. I'd love to go back there for a wander round but the current owner denies the public access. I'll just have to look forward to playing 18 holes on it instead then.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 9:43 amIt's another large area of green belt with some lovely public footpaths and woodland that'll be lost forever.
