Camille has just diminished in my estimation. When referring to multiple paparazzi, she called them paparazzis. Don't want to know her now.

Happy birthday to Pru...I remember when he was just a sprog and calling his parents "the rents" - now he's pushing 50 (well 68% there)

Cheers Worthy. About to head off to Wembley to (hopefully) watch the greatest player to ever play the game, in the flesh, finally.

Well that was definitely worth it. What a joyous footballer that man is.

Not Tony.

Who was it then?

Even in his own monstrous ego fest that was his 'autobiography' I dont reckon Tony Adams himself ever thought he was the greatest to have played the game. He probably puts himself in the top 5 though, the deluded feck

Can’t say I’d like to parent a 4 year old during a very long event where they have to stay in their seat for hours with the whole world watching me. I’d have left him at home with the nanny. Reassuring for those of us who feel we are regularly failing at this parenting gig though.

And very late for them too. They looked bored beyond belief. Making them sit there seems ridiculous to me.

Well, did they not just use up the seats which when the whole thing was planned were probably earmarked for Ginger and his shag-bandy?

Or the nonce? Possibly. Still an act of child cruelty making them sit through that pile of toss.

Queen definitely the lucky one!

Have a bit of pageantry about it. This is the Royal Family. Surely he would be Great Uncle Nonce to Louis?

Should add I’m no royalist but I enjoyed the jubilee and even some of the pomp and pageantry. It was good. The queen is an absolute star.

However that party thing was several hours of self indulgent toss. I’m sure the queen was in bed with a brandy happy as hell she didn’t have to listen to whatever self aggrandising acts had agreed to do it.

About where I'm at. Lots of admiration for the Queen but I happily avoided all the celebrations. There's probably a discussion to be had when she's gone, about the future of the royals and a possible, vastly slimmed down version of what we currently have.

Yep. I enjoyed some of the parades and what not. It is good to celebrate these things.

And yep to slimming them down a bit. They provide a function. I’m less sold on their contribution that is claimed but still.

I watched a bit of the celebrations......dipped in and out between various tasks. I have to say I genuinely missed London over last weekend. There really is nowhere else like Britain that does Pomp and Ceremony. And nowhere else but London in the sunshine to see it.
