Something else I need explaining to me. Since when has there been a set of rules as to what people can wear when entering the sea off of the coast of France, and why?
May the bridges I burn light your way

Since around 2/3 weeks ago. Allegedly it'll stop terrorist bombers somehow.

What our newshounds told us was that women wearing the 'burkini' incited the local yahoos to violence against said wearers and their male friends. The ban was to prevent unruly behaviou rather than bombers. At Rio some emirates beach volleyball team wore them to some protests. Such a tolerant world we live in.

I would have thought the it might be better to apply the law against those who would attack someone because of their dress-habits rather than direct the law against those who might be attacked... still - this is the french interpretation of secularism... it's their country...

Went to buy a card today for the wife's birthday:
"Do you want it in a bag sir?"
"Aye, okay"
"Bag for Life sir?"
"No, thanks. Just till I get it home."

Learning that'll keep me away from the Edinburgh Fringe for a great many years then.

Not exactly Biggus Dickus. And no balls.

This is a true quote apparently from the Parks dept when removing the statue.
NYC parks department on naked Trump statue: "NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small.”
Talk about double entendre.

An Australian graffiti artist did paint a fairly racy picture of Hilaryon the wall of a house in Melbourne. When the city authorities objected he repainted her in a burka.

No surprise that Celtic fans show support for a listed terrorist organisation..

Don;t mention IRA though, that's not fair

I don't think they were originally doing any of this for that organisation (as moral as it has now become) - More a show of angst against Israel - This IS Celtic afterall

Edit: Looking at it again, they were clearly trolling the Israeli's on a very, very sensitive subject and only turned it towards charity AFTER they were told there'd be an impeding fine
