Not sure why he wants to eff and jeff and kick about a fairy tale from 1815, and who lives in caves these days ? Certainly not Peter Dinklage who apparently gets a million dollars an episode from Game of Thrones. The first film version of Snow White (can we say that now?) was made in 1937, before he was born.

Make sure the date and time on the cameras in your car are correct, if you ain't got them fit them, the lycra louts are more of a threat than the Russians, also got them on the motorcycle, could save you cash but be prepared to sue for damages seeing they ain't insured like you have to be.

Another power cut. I'm sat here in the dark wearing a Christmas jumper to keep warm wondering if my phone has enough power to see me through the transfer window slamming shut.
Re: General Chit Chat
Hope it's back soon mate, bad news is that.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:52 pmAnother power cut. I'm sat here in the dark wearing a Christmas jumper to keep warm wondering if my phone has enough power to see me through the transfer window slamming shut.

Oh dear. Has the weather been horrendous up there then? Heard on the news it was bad at the moment. Is it the wind taken the power out? Stay safe.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:52 pmAnother power cut. Hope you get sorted soon A.T. Cold's bad enough with power, never mind without. Stay safe.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:52 pmAnother power cut. No, it's not just you. I think there's a few gremlins in the system but outages never seem to last very long.
The being signed out when trying to post thing can be got around by clicking the "Remember Me?" button when logging on.

Are back-up generators not commonly owned up there, AT? Hope you get it sorted soon, Bud.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 5:52 pmAnother power cut. Re: General Chit Chat
Power came back on around 9pm,so wasn't too bad. Read some and had a wee snooze.
Ironically the winds weren't so bad yesterday. The weekend we had 90mph gusts and winds in the 70s/80s.fairly normal for this time of year. No damage thankfully, though I did hear of a 33ft static going on a jaunt across a road!
I don't have a generator. I'm at the shop most of the time so barely worth one. Most outages aren't that long with a longer one usually once a year. I've a fire if it gets really cold and I can be arsed with it. Worst thing was not being able to heat the chilli I made the day before as I couldn't find the camp stove.

Is there any better way to say "I'm not guilty" than handing over a reported £12,000,000?

I usually manage to get away with a bunch of daffs after "lads night out" (which is a generic term occasionally incorporating multiple days)Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 9:14 am£12,000,000? Re: General Chit Chat
£12m is the rumour is it?
Will we be contributing any part of it? He's previously fought to keep his kids on the civil list and his ex wife has lurched from one financial crisis to another.
His reputation is shattered, he'll forever be thought of as a nonce and he's £12m in the hole and this is said to be his best possible outcome. He may have been better off defending the case!

First time up north for these village dwelling southerners and kids staggered by the local Tesco which could fit about 3 of our ‘big’ sainsburys into it! You lot are so spoilt for choice shop wise! Nice to drive through places I have only heard about in here though. Hello Farnworth, Horwich, Westhoughton, Little lever, Brightmet etc! Just need to understand the accent now! The oldest son wants to move up north (because it snowed!)
Lovely to see BP, GtE, LE and Harry G today!
