I think they said six weeks when I had it done, but I was back to normal after about a fortnight. Just no heavy lifting etc...

Just had my Covid booster from a very nice (non medically trained!) soldier which I was surprised at, though I had read that the army would be helping out. Anyway, I digress, have many people had bad symptoms after their Covid boosters?! I was fine for the first two but lots of friends have been taken out by the booster it would seem. I need to know if I am going to be genuinely ill or whether I need to fake it for a day in bed whilst Mr GG charges round after the kids!

Me and wife have both ad two injections plus a booster and a flu-jab. Now she's bought a "lateral flow" test kit, whatever that is. Cotton buds up the nostrils etc. Anyway, both came out negative, so...onwards..

Depends a bit on the op and how it went and how bad it was. I’d say a month maybe 5 weeks would be normal. It’s one where for a few weeks after you usually have to lie face down for most of the time to allow the retina to full reattach and I doubt many jobs are compatible with this.
