Not enough as there are hundreds... (at least under 'squirrels climbing poles')Prufrock wrote:How many different Google variations on 'squirrel climb painted pole' did you try before giving in, Spotty?

Re: For the birds
Bingo my arse. Find me one of a squirrel climbing a painted metal pole of a similar O/D to the one in my garden and I'll happily keep the keys.

I fed him 2 packs of food a day + dry food, he was only 9 months old at this stage and we were feeding him what was recommended in the quantity recommended. He f**ked of because we moved house(and cats don't like moving house) because my daft sister didn't lock the cage properly, it is inevitable that the other one will do the same when my dad and my sister move to Gloucester.

Down to a single swanling now. At last we've discovered the cause, the outflow over the weir is too strong and the current is carrying them downstream. I'm gutted.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:My swans have more swanlings. I just hope that this year at least one makes it to adulthood. six hatched over the weekend and already they are down to just four

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Our cat caught another woodpigeon today.
God knows how she manages it, they're bigger than her.

Re: For the birds
The single cygnet has made it over the weekend. It turns out it was a case of cygnicide: the cob was driving the babies over the weir. The pen has decided enough's enough and is constantly downflow of the remaining cygnet and she gives the cob a good thwacking every now and then when he gets too close.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Down to a single swanling now. Re: For the birds
Cobs and Pens? Get this on your fecking irritability-ometer. There's me in the Swan at Newby Bridge in need of a slash, goes to the bogs which are marked up 'Cobs' and 'Pens'. Cobs and bastard Pens? Brilliant. Which one am I then? This'll be just what I need when I'm stood here bursting for a piss - a fecking quiz!!!

Didn't they have little silhouettes of swans on the door, one with a bloody big donger hanging between its legsBruce Rioja wrote:Cobs and Pens? Get this on your fecking irritability-ometer.
