He's very very ill, but unlike Pope John Paul II does not feel it necessary to dodder onwards because frankly he doesn't have quite the same motivation or agenda. He doesn't, for example, feel it's worthwhile setting up new world records for the number of saints created or the amount of tarmac drooled on.

I think, but I'm not sure, that he's a different religion, similar to the difference between Soccer and Baseball. But it might only be a difference along the lines of Bundesliga and Serie A. But then again it might only be the difference between the Championship and the Premiership.
