Re: News Headlines
How come virtually every single news story regarding THE FLOODS has a photo showing some grandma/kiddie/teenager-in-a-onesie/startled-looking-housewife being piggybacked by waterproof clad sturdily built male members of a rescue service through seven inches of water... It's water for Christ'ssake, not acid. You can wade through it you pathetic fxckers!
One particular story was of two intrepid rescuers who'd used a neighbour's ornamental plastic dinghy to rescue a couple of old foggies. This despite the fact the water was three inches deep in their kitchen, and they could actually walk out onto dry land from their back door...

It's not particularly advisable to walk down a street with blown manhole covers and raw sewage.

Re: News Headlines
The footage that I saw from Tadcaster showed that the bridge had collapsed into the river. No footage of grandmas, kiddies, teenagers however attired, housewives regardless of expression, nobody giving piggybacks to anyone, no women in headscarves, trilbies, bowlers or Easter bonnets and considerably more than seven inches of water.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Yup. I thing you're confusing it with that thing that was on last night showing a headscarf wearing Queen getting her Land Rover stuck in a Scottish beck, because other than for that you're talking shite, Man.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

News story on BBC asked "what more do they want?"
My suggestion to both of the cxnts is "Get a fxckin' life sad tits".
