Never been able to stand the man, but that's awful for him. She's out of her pain and at rest now. R.I.P. from common courtesy.Salford Trotter wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-32563022 RIP Rebecca

Terribly sad for any woman so young. Leaving 3 children who will be devastated and a husband/partner of 11 years. All the £millions in the Wold can't shelter you from these ravages.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Got a message today from a lady I knew back in flamenco days. Her mum, a Spanish/American lifelong flamenco teacher passed on on Sunday aged 99. She was still teaching at 80. Grand old lady. R.I.P.

Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate fame has died.
Spent many a happy night listening to his music.

I've just checked and Hot Chocolate have had 29 top 40 songs in the charts. Surprised me as I could only remember three.clapton is god wrote:Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate fame has died.

Re: This weeks RIP's........
Back in the 70's my Mum's brother was a massive Hot Chocolate fan.
The bedsit he was in only had a sink so on Saturdays he'd come to our house for a bath and get ready for a night out at the Bees Knees or the Palais.
I have a vivid memory of watching him shave and dancing round the bathroom to tracks from Hot Chocolate and loads of disco and Northern Soul tracks on the radio. One of his favourite tracks was '18 with a bullet'
Happy days.

school discos just wouldn't have been the same without Hot Chocolate... all the clips have been like a disco-soul version of Proust's Madeleine...Gary the Enfield wrote:Back in the 70's my Mum's brother was a massive Hot Chocolate fan.

BB King. My favourite blues man. Lived an active playing life to almost 90 years old. A great guy.
