Re: This weeks RIP's........
Today, after weeks of pain, vet visit and painkillers, Alfie, our fifteen year old Shih-Tzu finally went over the Rainbow Bridge to join his mates of a lifetime.. A much loved little dog, life without him will seem so empty. Wife is in bits, and yes, I cried. God bless little fella, thanks for the fun,and may you rest in peace.

Oh Tango, so sorry to hear this. Big (((hug))) - it’s always so heartbreaking, they are part of the family however old they live to be - and 15 is a good age. Treat yourselves kindly. Sorry to hear that Tango. I was never a dog person until Mabel our Bichon Frise came on the scene 4 years ago. I totally get it now!
Sending you and Mrs TD my best wishes and hope you can gain some peace from your memories and the happiness Alfie brought to your lives.

Condolences to you both, Tango. Given the evident fondness with which you've written about him previously on here it's clear that you've both lost a wonderful little buddy. I'm sure you'll both look back over your time together with pride, warmth and affection.

Just heard this. Absolutely awful news. My favourite stand up, possibly of all time. Saw him twice at Blackburn - incredible on both occasions. A real shame.

Sad to learn of the passing of Charlie Watts, aged 80. You could give me his wonderful jazz style over the likes of most of his contemporaries any day. Sad news. RIP.

A man just doing his job - and his life is taken. Its dreadful - only word you can use.
Not someone I would find much agreement with but someone who seemingly went above and beyond for his constituents in many many cases.
Perhaps we can end the idle 'all as bad as each other' stuff and respect what many many MPs on all sides of the political debate do for a day job to help their constituents. Whether we agree with them or not - in trying to help people they should not be hurt.
We see the same thing across many other areas of public service and its on the rise. Sad day.
