It really is like the passing of a favourite aunt.

I'm struggling to get used to the idea of King Charles III, but I guess I will given time.
May the bridges I burn light your way

RIP to a great lady. She was Queen of Canada too. King Charles sounds odd to me, and I imagine demands for us to become a republic will increase. However, he gave a good speech today I thought.

I'm sure we'd all like to be remembered for something. Ronnie Radford certainly will be.
Sad news.

Well, yes. Something = some singular thing. Otherwise, I'd possibly have written 'some things', which I didn't!

Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac has sadly passed. One of the best singer-composers in one of the best bands. R.I.P. God bless.

Something I didn't know until last night was that she was born in the village of Bouth, Cumbria.

Played a selection of her songs on the radio this morning. Outstanding talent.

Jet Black.

Along with Jean Jacques Burnel, they created THE dirtiest, yet driven rhythm section. Something the teenage me just adored for how it sounded, and that the adult me appreciates.

Cheers for all of it, Fella.

Didn't have a lot of time for much punk, but Stranglers rose way above that. Sad loss.
