People often look at me when I tell them like "what you don't drink" in the same way you would look at somebody if they told you they didn't go to the toilet, the thing that a lot of people I know don't get is not the fact that I have chosen not to drink but the fact I have never even tasted alcohol before the peer pressure is not something that really bothers me (I am a Bolton fan, I am used to being the odd one out) its more the social impact I don't really get invited out on a evening although whether that is because I don't drink or because no one likes me I don't know? I do sometimes think I am the only 18 (19 as of today) year old in Britain who has not a the very least tried even just once smoking, drinking or taking drugs, I know a lot of people say I have missed out in life by not dabbling in at least one of those things but tbh I couldn't care, its not like any of them do to much good for your health.

I don't think it's that uncommon anymore. Our kid doesn't drink, I have a mate who doesn't. They probably get some stick from idiots, but hey ho. 1-0 to social engineering policy I suppose.

All the best, Dan. Two of my four kids don't drink and none of them smoke. Actually very few people smoke over here these days. Smart move on your part not just for health reasons but economically.

It's not the "I don't drink" that's at any issue. It's "I support Bolton and I don't drink" that's the problem.

I have had many a laugh at Bolton fans over the years who seem to take alchoalism to a new level, I guess for some supporting Bolton inflicts such pain that a pint or 10 is the only way to get through it. Thank you again the lot of you for your kind messages.

Ain't usually the drink that at fault so much as the drinkers. All things in moderation. Drink sex and all else are parts of life. It when you try to make em ways of life it usually goes wrong. .
